Stay Close Even When You're Far Away
In an effort to cater to the needs to families everywhere, a pioneer in vehicle safety has developed an app to keep loved ones connected even when they are not in the same house (or car.)
OnStar's newest Family Link program allows subscribers to log on to a website to view a map showing the vehicle's location at any time. This feature allows parents to check on their kids if they are late or if the weather is bad. They can also sign up to receive vehicle location alerts giving loved ones notifications to their family's whereabouts.
In this video, we invite you into the Kensington Family home. The Kensington's are fictional characters, and in this behind the scenes footage, they will show you how a traditional family stays connected even when they are far away.
Family Link will be a phased launch, beginning in mid-April for Select OnStar customers. The service will continue to roll out to customers throughout the year.
