Don't Let Old Man Winter Leave You Stranded
AAA Says Most Winter Roadside Emergencies are Preventable
Winter is here, is your car ready? Before you pack up the sleigh and head to grandmas, make sure you've checked your road safety list twice.
According to AAA, the most common roadside emergency calls they'll receive this winter can be prevented before drivers hit the road.
Winter Driving Check-List:
- Make sure your tire pressure is correct
- Check tire tread depth to ensure proper grip
- Check for battery corrosion and deterioration
- Keep your wiper fluid filled and your wipers in tip-top shape
When in doubt, take your vehicle in for a multi-point inspection to trouble-shoot larger problems. In addition to keeping your loved ones safe behind the wheel, this can also save time and money down the road.
